My First Night in Brooklyn

During my first night in Brooklyn, two Orientation leaders led us Outside of the Pratt Gate. One pointed down the Wrong Way of Dekalb Ave and told us Not To Go To There. (A year later, half of us would be living wayyyyy into Not To Go To There.) I got bored of the OL's words and hopped off to explore the campus. It was then that I found myself standing in front of a mountain lion.
New Friend started New Friendship by introducing me to other large males and taking me down The Wrong Way of Dekalb. I was following male strangers into an area of Brooklyn that the Ols said was "dangerous" and I had no idea how I would get back to my dorm. My mother would have been thrilled. I arrived with the male strangers and New Friend at a loft full of more strangers. A Pink Ferret, who I thought must be the host of the party, slinked towards me.
I bolted. But to my suprise, male strangers and New Friend came with me. So did half of the other strangers, since my New Mountain Lion Friend was apparently The Mountain Lion to follow to parties. We found a new room of strangers, these ones were much more welcoming. No manic predatory ferret tried to eat me.

Goodbye, Shoe Car

He was called "Shoe Car" because he was so small compared to my friends' Fords. I could park diagonally and he would still fit perfectly in the lines. I didn't parallel park; I just carried him in between two parked cars.

I Am A Functioning Adult

The idea for this episode is mimicking (with respect) the webcomic Hyperbole and a Half, the best webcomic on Blogger. I hope that if I am ever as successful as Hyperbole, the creator will look upon Brooklyn Rabbit with mercy and will not sue the pants off of a poor, stupid art school kid.

And now, "Functional" Adult.
